The registration rules for Antwerp

Image: Registration class 4 – entry without an environmental ticket

When entering the LEZ of Antwerp, three registration classes can be distinguished: 2, 3 and 4.
In addition, the city of Antwerp has decided that the most polluting vehicles are not allowed to enter the LEZ, or only by paying an additional charge and purchasing an environmental ticket. This applies, in particular, to older diesel vehicles and very old petrol vehicles. The key factor is the EURO emission standard of a vehicle.
All vehicles which meet the following entry requirements (with or without an additional payment for the purchase of an environmental ticket) are allowed to enter the LEZ of Antwerp.
